Location: Thredbo – Waragun
Date: Thu 25 Apr 2019 to Sat 27 Apr 2019

BSC is hosting a Mountain Biking and Photography weekend. Thredbo is very committed to mountain bike riding with numerous tracks specifically designed and built for this growing sport. We have had a lot of interest in MTB. We have also had a lot of interest in photography lessons. So we are doing both on the one weekend.

The initial aim of this weekend was to promote usage of our Guthega lodges over summer. However the Tiobunga flooding event has altered our plans. We will now be holding this event in Thredbo.Mountain Biking: The MTB riders will be enjoying the fantastic trails at Thredbo. Thredbo has really geared up for this very popular sport and riders will have loads of fun on the trails.

MTB Cost: $0 per head.  This is a weekend where the riders will roam free. NB: There is a cost for the chairlift should you choose routes that require use of the lifts.

MTB Materials: Bring you own bike(s), helmets, tuning tools, etc. We have expanded bike storage in Waragun to cater for the new breed of thrill seekers.Photography workshop: A professional photographer has been organised to present a photography workshop. Brad Chilby is a respected photographer from the Illawarra region. Brad has his work on display in a number of locations in the Illawarra region.

The workshop will be held over two days, 8 hours in total, preferably the Friday and Saturday. Brad will teach you how to use your camera on manual settings (ISO, Aperture, shutter speed, White Balance, Composure, Long Exposures etc.). Brad will also discuss all of the back menu settings. Part of the workshop will include walks where you can put the theory into practice. Brad will also try to include some time on editing and printing your photographs.

Photography Cost: $120.00 per person. Payments will be made to Brad on the weekend so please bring the payment in cash.
