Thredbo has announced plans to replace the Gunbarrel chairlift with a six seater chairlift of the same design as the new one on Mount Perisher in time for the 2028 season. They have also discussed longer term plans to replace the Kosciuszko Express chairlift with a six seater and extending snowmaking at Friday Flat.
