Waragun is nestled near the river and partly surrounded by snow gums. It has a well appointed kitchen, dining and lounge room upstairs with views towards the resort mountains. Downstairs there is an entry foyer, TV room, drying room, laundry, ski / board storage area and ski & board tuning area. There are bedrooms on both levels, with twelve twin shares. Most bedrooms have an ensuite, there are two pairs of rooms sharing bathrooms. There is also a manager’s flat with a kitchenette. Waragun was built to replace the club’s former Thredbo lodge Carinya, which was opened in 1969 and was lost in the Thredbo landslide in 1997.
