Have your say on the Snowy Mountains Special Activation Precinct

The NSW Government has released a draft Master Plan for the Snowy Mountains Special Activation Precinct.  It outlines a range of ideas for people who live, visit and work in Jindabyne and the Snowy Mountains to cater for a growing population and enable long term economic prosperity for the region.

For more information visit www.planning.nsw.gov.au/snowymountainssap.  Here you can access a copy of the draft Master Plan and supporting documents, browse an interactive map, complete a short survey or find out how to make a submission.

The draft master plan is located on https://www.planningportal.nsw.gov.au/snowymountainssap down the bottom under Documents. There are also other supporting documents and technical reports in this location.

You will also find dates and times for the community drop-in sessions which will be held at Memorial Hall, Jindabyne.

Anyone with an interest in the Snowy Mountains are encouraged to get involved.

  • Attend a community drop in at Memorial Hall, Jindabyne
  • Write a submission
  • Interact with the online map of the area via Social Pinpoint

The exhibition period is 45 days from Monday 28th June – Thursday 12th August.
